He was predeceased by: his father Robert Percy; his stepfather Alfred Scheuring; and his grandparents, Eldon, Viola Percy and Jalmer "Sham" Maki (Jennie).

He is survived by: his mother Linda Scheuring (Maki); his brother Terry Percy (Diane) of Colorado; his close friends, Joe Burd of Colorado and Tom Wudinich; and his cousins, Cindy Wudinich and Cheryl Overfors.
