She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Brodin and Ella Brodin (Egge); her husband Donald Mickelson; and her sister Ardith Frederickson. She is survived by: her children, Kent Mickelson (Ardis) of Lakefield, Jay Mickelson (Lori) of Windom, Debra Zellar (Dave) of Eagle Lake and Joel Mickelson (Janelle) of Windom; her grandchildren, Shawn Lorenzen, Heather VanArsdale, Naomi Gordon, Brady Mickelson, Michelle Weber, Elise Baum, Jonathan Zellar, Michael Zellar, Andrea Tasler and Beckyn Mickelson; her siblings-in-law, Arlo Mickelson (Helen) of Kentwood, MI and Elaine Felt of Vancouver, WA; and her friends, Don Hendrickson of Milford, IA, Jim, Jane Bretzman of Lakefield and Connie Hauge of Windom. She is also survived by twenty-two great grandchildren.
Memorials are preferred to Shetek Lutheran Ministries, Hospice of Murray County, and Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Lakefield, MN, in lieu of flowers.
