He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Fransen and Hannah Fransen (Johnson); his wife Merva Shover; his brothers, Quentin, Leland and Kenneth; and his sister-in-law Donna Fransen.
He is survived by: his daughters, Judy Kielty of Windom, Carol Neal (Jerry Hepp) of Jackson and Linda Sanders (Thomas) of Windom; his grandchildren, Karey Kielty Daschner (Mark), Karlene Kielty Hunter, Katie Kielty Raverty, Bryon Neal, Paul Neal (Rachelle) and Lisa Neal Will (Corey); his stepgrandchildren, Jacob Sanders (Megan), Sara Sanders Upadhyah (Samar) and Joshua Sanders; his sister Delores Hauge; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Fransen. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren; six step great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
