With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard E. Hecker of Lakefield, Minnesota, born in Heron Lake, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Hecker and Sonja Hecker (Peterson); his daughter Kelly Hecker; his brother Wayne Hecker; his uncle Don Hecker (Anita); and his aunt LaVone Celeen (Sullivan).
He is survived by: his significant other Betty Mogensen of Lakefield, MN; his daughter Misty Ronellenfitch (James) of Sheldon, IA; his grandchildren, Daenton Ronellenfitch, Lilly Thompson and Alicia Ronellenfitch; and his brothers, Jim Hecker (Sue) of Minneapolis, MN, Bob Pruett (Bonnie) of McGregor, IA and Paul Hecker of Arizona. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kramer Family Funeral Home - Sherburn Chapel (107 N Osborne St, Sherburn, MN 56171). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
