He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Gentz and Olga Gentz (Krause); his daughter Carolyn Dawn; and his brother Maynard Gentz (Irene). He is survived by: his wife Janice Gentz of Lakefield; his daughters, Lynette Wedeking (Victor) of Brandon, SD, Sheryl Gaida (John) of Victoria and Jolene Gentz (Bryan Garrison) of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Matthew, Mark Wedeking, Rebecca, Ian Gaida and Emilea Garrison; and his nephews, Alton Gentz, Greg Gentz (Michelle), Mitch Gentz and Nyles Gentz (Helane).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Peter Lutheran Church (87977 MN-86, Lakefield, MN 56150). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
