In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Melvin leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Melvin may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Grein and Lily Grein (Vestweber); his siblings, Arnold Grein, Earl Grein (Mardell), Vernon Grein (Margaret), Dale Grein (Barb) and Pearl Swanson (Irvin); and his siblings-in-law, Caroleen Kelly and Kelly Gehrls.
He is survived by: his sister Iona Gehrls of Okabena; and his brother-in-law Fred Kelly of McMinville, OR. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (604 Bush St, Lakefield, MN 56150). A celebration of life was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
