He is survived by: his wife Linda Kay Porter; his children, Lee Garms (Meggan Hoffmann), Mark Garms (Jody Garms), Wade Garms (Jacalyn Garms) and Julia Garms (Mike Wood); and his sisters, Ruth Slocum and Rita Slocum. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
