She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Hecht and Edith Hecht; her husband Walter Kolander; and her sister Charlene. She is survived by: her children, Myron Kolander (Janice) of Bennington, Marlys Runge (Mark) of Lakefield and Carolyn Marten (Todd) of Mankato, Minnesota; and her brothers, Donald Hecht (Phyllis) of Hutchinson and Charles Hecht (Leatrice) of Windom, Minnesota. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and great friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
