He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Preuss and Elsie Preuss (Beermann). He is survived by: his former wife Alice Matasovsky; his children, Linda Place (Scott), Ron Preuss of Newtown, MO and Tom Preuss (Adrian); his stepsons, Tim Braun (Melody) and Paul Braun (Jackee); and his siblings, Sharon Hinkeldey (Willis), Gordon Preuss (Dixie), Sherburne and Marlys Milbrath (Dan). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
