It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Lois Carlson (Lake Wilson, Minnesota), born in Luverne, Minnesota, who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Kiebach and Louise Staeffler Kiebach; her husband Lyle; her grandson Aaron Aubert; her great grandchildren, Ceona Mitchell and Joshua Carlson; her parents-in-law, Martin and Gladys Carlson; and her sisters-in-law, Jeanne Zimmerman (Gene), Audrey Voss (Gerald) and Shirley Suedkamp.
She is survived by: her children, Valinda (Brian Aubert), Jeff (Ramona Carlson) and Leonard "Lennie" (Lisa Carlson); her children-in-law, Nancy and Norman Overgaard of Luverne, MN; her children, Dale, Pat Kiebach of Harrisburg, SD, Joyce and Bob Saarloos; and her siblings-in-law, Jenny Kiebach of Luverne, MN, Darrell (Sheila Carlson) of Tracy, MN and Stan Suedkamp of Landfall, MN. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, three siblings.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (450 Carrie Ave, Lake Wilson, MN 56151). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
