He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Sapa and Catherine Sapa (Smith); his brothers, Jerry and Dick; his sisters-in-law, Lois Triden and Charlotte Sapa; and his nephews, Jimmy and Billy Sapa.
He is survived by: his wife Patty; his children, Chad Sapa (Roberta) and Jacque Baker (Chad) of Lakeville, MN; his grandchildren, Sammi (Bobby), Sean (Jasmine), Téa (Shea), Lexi and Nic; his great grandchildren, Sativa, Thomas and Brynlee; and his brothers, Mike Sapa (Heidi) and Pat Sapa (Tammy). He is also survived by his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
