He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter T. Quam and Bess Quam (Anderson); his wife Bonnie Wilson; his siblings, John, Wilbur, Richard, Don and Patricia Score; and his son-in-law Steve Villa.

He is survived by: his children, Kevin Quam (Elaine) of Greeley, CO, David Quam (Julie) of San Angelo, TX and Julie Villa of Detroit Lakes, MN.; his grandchildren, Austin Valencia (Becky), Russell Valencia (Mai), Chris Williams (Brooklyn), Brady Quam and Elizabeth Villa; his great grandchildren, Kendall Valencia and Gracie Valencia; and his brother Fred Quam of Fargo, ND..

“Sorry to hear of your loss. I went to school with Bobby many yrs ago. He seemed quiet but nicer than most of the boys. I didn't graduate with the class as I decided to get married. So we lived on a farm by Fingal for 45 yrs and we had 7 children. I now am widowed and live in Oriska. Just want to send my sympathy to Robert's family at this sad time.
