He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Lekang and Erma Lekang (Springer); his former wife Dorothy King; his wife Joanne Duval; his daughters, Theresa Lekang, Rita Pucheu, Mary Penton, Jolynn Krotzner, Jinelle Beauchamp, Jessica Naslund (Brent) and Jennifer McTighe (John); his siblings, Roy Lekang (Carla), Richard Lekang (Joyce), Jim Lekang (Donna) and Judy Rudolph (Rod); his son David Lekang; his son-in-law Shawn Pucheu; and his sister Phyllis Borud. He was also cherished by 19 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
