It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Spiesz of Lake Park, Minnesota, born in Fargo, North Dakota, who passed away on August 6, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Spiesz and Eleanor Spiesz (Fuchs); his wife Linda Bekkerus; and his son-in-law Christopher Boechler. He is survived by: his children, Katherine Raatz, Kristopher Spiesz (Deborah) and Elizabeth Boechler; his grandchildren, Nathan Raatz, Ian Raatz (Kate), Kaaren Spiesz and Kaia Spiesz; his great grandchildren, Carter, Maverick and Amelia Raatz; and his siblings, Orville Spiesz (JoAnn), Judy Schwanke (Steve) and Heidi Farnquist (Duane).
