He is survived by: his former wife Rebecca Schulstad; his wife Becky; his daughters, Jody Harms (Ethan King) and Jana Thompson (Paul); his grandchildren, Brady Harms (Kaley), Taylor Harms (Addie), Jordan Harms, Drew Thompson, Marissa Thompson and Paige Thompson; his great grandchildren, Beckett, Lennon Harms, Harper and Jude Harms; his sister LaVonne Askelson; and his parents-in-law, Bev, Bob Imhoff, Gene, Linda Schulstad, Diane, Tony Passanate, Paul Schulstad, Lori, Verne Peterson, Joyce and Alan Newton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and 4 Godchildren.
