He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert "Happy" and Vivian "Sue" Kuehl; his former wife Gloria Kuehl; his daughter Connie Kuehl; and his stepdaughter Julie Moorehead.
He is survived by: his former wife Carol Moen; his wife Audrey Kuehl; his children, Cheryl Anderson (Kirk), David Kuehl (Karan) and Christi Taylor; his stepchildren, Jason Badar (Nicole), Jean Weber (Mike), Jon Badar (Angie), Valerie Straley (Claude) and Perry Melbo (Laurie); and his brother Keith Kuehl. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Detroit Lakes Eagles Club #2342, where Duane was a proud member for many years.
