He was predeceased by: his parents, Mearl Scott and Helga Scott (Lundbom); his great grandchild Ashley Rieck; and his siblings, Delores Sester (Urb), Phyllis Wicklund, Betty Lou Olson, Mavis Scott, Wayne Scott (Lois) and Sharon Kostka (Tom).
He is survived by: his wife Donna Mae; his children, Jacquelyn Cain (William) of Willmar, John Scott of Willmar, Jerry Scott of Lake Lillian and Julie Arko (Joe) of St. Louis Park; and his sisters-in-law, Maige Erickson and Loretta Flann. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren; his 16 great-grandchildren; his two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Tromso Cemetery or United Lutheran Church.
