Sandra Marie Miezwa Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Marie Miezwa of Lake Elmo, Minnesota, who passed away on December 12, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Sandra Marie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Sandra Marie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Mather and Gertrude Mather; her sisters, Patricia "Pat" Cerisier and Arlene "Boots" DuChene; her nephew Charles "Chuckie" Cerisier III; and the father of her children James "Jim" Miezwa.
She is survived by: her children, A. J. Miezwa (Lisa) and Mari Miezwa; her grandchildren, Violet and J. J. Miezwa; and her sister Karen "Corky" Colleran. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Church of the Ascension (1723 N Bryant Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55411).
