He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond and Arline; his brother David; and his grandson Zachary Sobiech. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his sister Sue Abel (Doug); and his children, Laura Sobiech (Rob), Adam Friedrich (Debi), Lee Schimnowski (Jon), Andrea Friedrich (Grant Canfield), Amy Anderson (Mark), Maria Garbe (John) and Luke Friedrich (Stephanie). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
