He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Honstad and Erma Honstad (Engelby); his brother Les Honstad (Sonja); and his pet Buff. He is survived by: his significant other Nancy Hanson; his son Ryan Honstad (Angie); his grandson Matthew of New Ulm; and his brother Doyle Honstad (Cathryn) of Pine Island, MN. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Lake Crystal Fire Department, Lake Crystal Ambulance Service, and Zion Lutheran Youth Program.
