He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon M. Stevenson and Mildred M. Stevenson (Brouilette); his stepfather Louis Hassing; his brother Eugene; his granddaughter Emma; and his parents-in-law, Harold Klaes and Marie Klaes Pahl.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn W. Klaes; his children, Grant Stevenson (Megan) of Woodbury and Lynn Schultz (Bruce) of Madelia; his grandchildren, Erin, Eleanore and Grace Stevenson; his children, Jordan Schultz (Joshua Goodburn), Kyle Schultz and Rachel Schultz; his great grandchildren, Alivia and Ryan Goodburn; and his sisters-in-law, Janice Stevenson of San Diego, Shirley Klaes of Minneapolis and Betty Pedersen (Neil) of Lake Crystal. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Lake Crystal Fire Department, Lake Crystal American Legion, or First Presbyterian Church of Lake Crystal.
