She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack W. Nelson and Margery Nelson (Klenk); her husband Harold B. Barnick; her brothers, John and Harold Nelson; and her brother-in-law Don Schmidt.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Barnick of Elmore, MN and Beth Giefer (Randy) of Richfield, MN; her grandchildren, Damon Barnick of Rochester, MN and Amber Barnick of Reynolds, ND; and her sister Byrene Schmidt of Lake Crystal. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (211 E Robinson St, Lake Crystal, MN 56055). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred to Zion Lutheran Church or Cancer Research, at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
