He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Winter and Arllette Winter (Stahldorf); and his brothers, Dave Winter and Doug Winter. He is survived by: his wife Penny Winter of Lake Crystal; his children, Sam Winter (Traci) of Fargo, Lucas Winter of Lake Crystal and Sara Dauer (Dustin) of Lake Crystal; and his grandchildren, Elena, Damon, Quinn, Venna and Josie.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Janesville United Methodist Church (401 N West St, Janesville, MN 56048).
