She was predeceased by: her husband George Benney; her parents, Emil Kosta and Lily Kosta; her brothers, Stanley and Floyd; and her granddaughters, Anna, Melanie and Amy.
She is survived by: her children, Flo Haapanen (Don), Darlene Pyykkonen (Paavo), Alan Benney, Annette Benney and Anita Palm (Greg). She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
