He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Anderson and Dorothy Anderson (Platte); his brother Morris Platte; his brother-in-law Dean Vieths; and his father-in-law Clyde Vieths.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Vieths of Lake City; his sisters, Diane Hardy (Dave) of Goodhue and Carla Pelowski (Chuck) of Lake City; his sisters-in-law, Judy Platte of Lake City, Lisa Kittleson (Sam) of Lake City and Holly Vieths of Lake City; his mother-in-law Janet Vieths of Lake City; his nephews, Kris, Matt, Craig and Danny; and his close friend Bart Wurst of Rochester.
