Though Mardell may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudy Meyer and Frances Meyer; her husband Richard Huppert; and her brother Ralph Meyer. She is survived by: her children, Tamara Breutzman (Steve), Robert Huppert (Gail) and Rebecca VanDeWalker (Mike); and her grandchildren, Nicholas Breutzman (Emily), Kayla VanDeWalker (Eric Evers), Nathan Huppert (Erica), Jennifer and Riley Huppert. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (520 W Chestnut St, Lake City, MN 55041). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
