It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Joyce Mickow (Lake City, Minnesota), who passed away on January 29, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benedict Joseph "Ben" and Amalia Marie "Mary" Kuhl (Fuerstenberg); and her siblings, Audrey and Charles. She is survived by: her sisters, Sandra and Trio; her brother-in-law Albert; her husband LaVerne "Ernie" Mickow of Elgin; her children, Pam Mickow (Brian Condon) of Rochester, Theresa Splittstoesser (Miles Hinsch) of Rochester, Kevin Mickow (Alicia) of Kasson, Joel Mickow (Shelley) of Elgin and Shana Schaefer (Courtney) of Pine Island; her grandchildren, Bethany Halter (Josh), Kevin Cory Mickow, Brittany Splittstoesser (Patrick Clipsham), Ketin Mickow, David Splittstoesser III, Julia Klimavicz (Mike), Zachary Splittstoesser, Chamberlain Eisner (Christopher), Abigail Splittstoesser, Devin Schaefer, Kolten Lukes (Carissa), Kole Mickow, Savannah Mickow, Karsin Mickow and Jade Mickow; and her great grandchildren, Ezekiel Frankel, D'mitri Andrade-Perez and Kai Lukes. She is also survived by five children, 15 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Pine Haven Care Center in Pine Island.
