He is survived by: his wife Faye Brinkman of Lake City; his children, Joelle Hoffman (Kevin) of Red Wing and Michael Brinkman (Amanda) of Blaine; his granddaughter Avery Brinkman; his stepgrandsons, Nate and Nolan Hoffman; his sister Loa Baker of Lake City; his nieces, Shari Witt (Larry) and Dawn Rolph (Andy); and his nephew Alan Brinkman (Kari). He is also survived by family and many extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (520 W Chestnut St, Lake City, MN 55041). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lake City VFW (115 N Franklin St, Lake City, MN 55041).
