He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ubbens and Ida Ubbens (Hoeper); his siblings, Harold Ubbens, Evelyn Ubbens and Laura Freitag; and his brother-in-law Ted Kruse.
He is survived by: his friends, Barb Follstad, Jeff and Angie Hughson; his sister Violet Kruse of Washington, Iowa.; and also, Karin Ryan of Lake City, Minnesota, Mackai, Allie and Brynn Hughson.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home (1801 4th St NW, Austin, MN 55912). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred to recipient of donor's choice.
