He was predeceased by: his siblings, David Schroeder and Mary Fuller; and his grandson Ross Grobe. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughters, Kathryn Grobe (Dale) and Carrie Schroeder; his grandchildren, Holly Todd (Steven) and Aaron Grobe (Emily); his great grandchildren, Weston, Jett, Beau Todd and Lenore Grobe; his brother James Schroeder (Penny); and his children, Barb Benjamin (Dennis), Brenda Loos (Roger), Bruce Mickow (Laurie) and Blaine Mickow (Julie). He is also survived by five nieces.
Memorial monies will be directed to the City of Elgin for an upcoming event or donation of trees.
