With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Donald Durgin of Lake City, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2025 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Durgin and Lucille Durgin (Hartliep); and his brother Dale Durgin. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Durgin (Nathan Skog) of Ellsworth and Brian Durgin of Lake City; his grandchildren, Tyler and Hayden; and his siblings, Delores Halpaus (William) of Lake City, Diane Knaup (Wayne) of Rochester, Darlene Peloquin of Prior Lake, MN, Derene Dobson-Durgin of Rochester, Dorathy Durgin of Wabasha, Donna Halvorsen of Guernsey, WY, Duane Durgin (Sandy) of Rochester, Daniel Durgin (Bach) of Rochester and Dennis Durgin of Rochester. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schleicher Funeral Homes & Cremation Services- Plainview (10 E Broadway, Plainview, MN 55964). A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
