She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Schwartzwald and Hazel Schwartzwald (Mortenson); her brother Edmund Schwartzwald, Jr.; and her granddaughter Katherine Gillis. She is survived by: her children, Edmund Gillis (Erica) of Kasson, Kyle Gillis (Paula) of Vasa and Andrea Gillis of Lake City; her grandchildren, Lydia, Peter, Timothy Gillis, Braeden, Owyne Gillis, Mikyle Gossett and Beibhinn Winn; and her sister Sharon Olson (Bruce) of Vasa. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
