He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Miller and Janice Miller (Solum). He is survived by: his wife Jean Miller; his brother Jeffrey Miller; and his uncle Jerry Miller (Debbie).

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to the Humane Society.
