It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Lee Carrels of Lake City, Minnesota, who passed away on October 31, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Schuchard, and Velate Schuchard, Jr. (Uthke). She is survived by: her former husband Frank Carrels; her daughters, Jennifer Kahl (Jeremy) of Lake City and Tiffany Carrels of Lake City; her grandchildren, Teyla, Kaden, Ava and Sammilee; and her siblings, Sharon Rahrman (Joe), Janette Briggs (Paul), Russell Schuchard (Mary), Donald Schuchard (Lisa), Carol Lambrecht (Joe), Dorothy Diedrich (Jack), Dennis Schuchard (Pam), Frank Schuchard (Cindy) and John Schuchard (Kim).
