He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Petersen and Nomie Petersen. He is survived by: his family Rachel; his wife Debbie; his daughters, Rachel Hogan (James) and Amy Sagrado (Gustavo); his grandchildren, Svea, Finn and Jasper; his sister Becky Rude (Steve); his nephew Jon Rude (Lea); his great-nieces, Jadyn and Mackenzie; his siblings-in-law, Lynne Kennedy (Jim), Gail Hillestad, Carol Schmitt and Jon Hillestad; his nieces and nephews, Lisa Gurule (Jon), Josie Just (Brian), Jason Schmitt (Elaine) and Scott Kennedy (Tiffany); and also Amy. He is also survived by his family deeply, was a beloved husband, father and grandfather, and cared deeply about his friends.
