She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lester Gilbert and Mabel Gilbert (Geary); her husband Richard Meinders; her daughter Tamara "Tami" Vanderplaats (William) of Pipestone; her grandchildren, Cassandra Woitaszewski (Jed) and Logan Vanderplaats; her great grandchildren, Ella and Adlee Woitaszewski; her siblings, Duane Gilbert (Barbara) of Brooklyn Park, Grace Ann Goodman of Midwest City, LeRoy Gilbert (Darlene) of Plymouth and Carolyn Miller (Neil) of St. Peter, Minnesota; and her friend Kenny Skorr. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
