With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Karstens (Lafayette, Minnesota), born in New Ulm, Minnesota, who passed away on July 19, 2019 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Sherry Fluegge (Rick) of Lafayette, Kevin Kartens (Gail) of Lafayette, Kurtis Karstens (Carla) of New Ulm and Henry Karstens (Denise) of New Ulm; her sisters, Alice Brede of Glencoe, Lilian Fruwirth (Mike) of New Ulm, Virginia Milbrett of New Ulm, Beverly Ubl of New Ulm and LaRanda Dallmann of Nicollet; her husband Henry Karstens; and her parents, Arthur Havemeier and Jennie Havemeier (Henke). She was also cherished by 13 grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
