It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Brethorst of Lafayette, Minnesota, born in Winthrop, Minnesota, who passed away on June 18, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Hed and Ora Hed (Batchelder); her husband Lomaine Brethorst; her grandchild Daryck Neubarth; her son-in-law John Weymouth; her sister Marlys Lindstrand; and her brothers-in-law, Glenn Totman and Glenn Lindstrand.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas, Cynthia Beuning (Roger) of Waite Park, MN, Pamela Brethorst of St. Paul, MN and Cheryl Portner (Leon) of Lafayette, MN; her grandchildren, Corey Neubarth (Becky), Brooke Goetting (Gene), Dustin Portner, Jason Brethorst and Justin Brethorst (Janelle); her great grandchildren, Danielle Steffl, Dalton Neubarth, Brynlee Portner, Olivia Goetting and Griffen Goetting; her great great grandchild Sariya Steffl; and her sister Dona Totman of New Ulm, MN. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
