He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Richard and Verna Rein; his brother Douglas; his brother-in-law Michael Harder; and his parents, Lloyd Clobes and Valeria Clobes (Schaeffler).
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his siblings-in-law, Douglas Rein, Michael Rein and Nancy Harder; his nieces, Rachel Danks (James) and Lisa Sejrup (Blake); and his great-nephews, Jameson and Kason Danks.
