With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Suzanne Catherine Flatten of La Crescent, Minnesota, who passed away on January 24, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Verland Flatten; her parents, Ralph and Stella; and her siblings, Steven Hammel and Mary Catherine Hammel.
She is survived by: her sons, Alan (Amber), Michael and Paul Iverson (Lori); her grandchildren, Nicholas, Kristin, Alex, Cole, Tyler, Tanner, Savannah, Samantha, Amanda, Autumn, Kyler and Kaitlyn; her stepchildren, Scott (Caroline), Kirk Flatten (Colleen) and Kelly Sherfield; her stepgrandchildren, Jacob, Emily, Benjamin, Nathan, Annmarie, Alexandra, Mackenzie and Zachary; her siblings, Ralph (Kathy), Roger, Charlie (Deb), David Hammel (Karla), Mary Jo Frana (Bill) and Ruth Ann Kearney (Kevin); and also Aspen.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Crucifixion Catholic Church (423 S 2nd St, La Crescent, MN 55947). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Church of the Crucifixion (423 S 2nd St, La Crescent, MN 55947). A Mass was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar Crucifixion Catholic Church (423 S 2nd St, La Crescent, MN 55947).
