He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Flietner and Ford; his wife Lorinda Rose Flietner; his daughter-in-law Kristine Kelly; and his siblings, Leroy Flietner, Gloria Lattmann and Debra Yonker.
He is survived by: his children, Charles V Kelly, Angela S Flietner Royal (Greg Hendricks) and Peter J Flietner (Sarah Flietner). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
