He is survived by: his significant other Kathy Michelsen; his children, Michael Ewing (Carrie), Christine Strait (Donny), LeeAnne Ewing and Tracey Haugrud (Wayne); his siblings, Marcia Nissalke (Dick), Susan Nissalke (Bill) and Doug Ewing (Doris); and also Packer. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, along with special nieces and nephews.
