It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maxine Luft of La Crescent, Minnesota, born in Jackson, Minnesota, who passed away on February 18, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louise Haberman and Alfred Haberman; her husband Edwin "Ned" Luft; and her siblings, Clayton Haberman, Marvin Haberman, Claire Haberman, Edna Haberman, LaVerna Schaffer, Helene Miranowski and Betty Shea.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Oliver (Steve) of La Crescent, Tim Luft (Jan) of Holmen, Rick Luft (Cindy) of Eau Claire, Tom Luft of Sarasota, FL and Roger Luft (Mary) of Eau Claire; her grandchildren, Kevin, Corey, Debbie, Christopher, Jason, Amanda, Brandon, Nicole, Andrew and Alex; her great grandchildren, Kevin, Jr., Anthony, Christian, Bryce, Evan, Jaxen, Emerson, Greyson, Emmitt, Maverick and Franklin; and her sisters, Mary Anne Leopold and Marilyn Rogers.
Due to covid-19, those wishing to attend are required to pre-register with Crucifixion Catholic Church by phone at 507-895-4720 or at their website http://www.crucifixionschool.org. Masks and social distancing will be required.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Crucifixion Catholic Church or School.
