He was predeceased by: his parents, Frieda Witt and Clarence Witt; and his siblings, Gordon, Ruth Arnett and Donna McVey.
He is survived by: his brother Norman; and his nieces and nephews, LuEtt Hanson, Gary Rahn (Diedre), Kirby Rahn (Nancy), Kristin Erlandsen (Michael), Eric Witt (Shawna), Amy Osman (Craig), Clarence McVey (Valerie) and Tracey Childress (Eric).
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the South Ridge United Methodist Church (1781 Chicken Ridge Rd, La Crescent, MN 55947). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
