He is survived by: his wife Susan Ellis; his children, Jessica Greening of La Crescent, John Emil Greening (Erin) of La Crescent and Benjamin Greening (Laura) of Seattle; his grandchildren, Brandon, Darnell "DJ" Greening, Elijah, Ruby Greening, Arlo, Mabel Hunt and Grey; and his sisters, Linda Nyborg of Vale, Patricia Strachan of Holland and Rhonda McGill of South Bend. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
