He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Elizabeth (Abrams) and Col. John Henry Derrick. He is survived by: his son Alan Benjamin; his wife Peggy; his daughter-in-law Kelsey; his granddaughter Lorelei; his pets, Cora and Frida; and his caregiver Shelly.
