Janet Arleen Las Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Arleen Las (La Crescent, Minnesota), who passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Wier and Amanda Wier (Brenengen); her caregiver Janet; her daughter Brenda Stawarz; and her siblings, Armond, Rosalie and Karmon.
She is survived by: her sister Sondra (Bernard); her caregivers, MaryLea Yeomans, Josie Schultz, Ashley and Lanita Agrimson; her daughter-in-law Leslie; her husband Bernie; her sons, Matt Las (Leslie) of Bangor, WI, Anthony Las of Tomah, WI, Steven Las and Sheldon Las (Kristy) of Pine Island, MN; her grandchildren, Bethany, Derek, Drew, Khiara, Amanda, Brennigan, Jolene, Dylan, Abbigayle and Nolan; her great grandchildren, Lucas and Julia; her son Andy; and her grandchildren, Jeremiah Las and Quinn Las.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (21 N Hill St, La Crescent, MN 55947).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to charitable causes to help those in need with your money, time, or blood/platelets/plasma (Mom being a continuous donor to the Red Cross).
