He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Meyer and Gladys Meyer (Burmeister); his wife Mary Ginsky of La Crosse, WI.; and his siblings, Dorothy (Oren Pengra), Barbara (Joe Shockley), Gordon (Carolyn Meyer) and Howard (Mary Meyer).
He is survived by: his children, Jane Voves (Dudley) of La Crescent, MN, Amy Meyer of La Crosse, WI, Douglas Jr. (Stephanie) of Friendswood, TX, Daniel of Winona, MN and Charles of Cochrane, WI.; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Reece, Madison Meyer, Gregory Voves, Erika and Steven Meyer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
