She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Paus and Clara Paus (Dresselhaus); her husband Robert Von Arx; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Senn. She is survived by: her children, Sue Horihan (Bob Hafner), David Von Arx (Missy) and Karen Petersen (Ron); her grandchildren, Ryan Horihan (Ashleigh), Teri Kennelly (Michael), Carlie Von Arx, Jon Petersen and Josh Petersen; her great grandchildren, Dylan, Jude Horihan, Rowan and Lochlan Kennelly; and her siblings-in-law, Bernice Onsgard and Roger Von Arx (Sandra).

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be used in Doris' memory.
