He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Burton Veglahn and Evelyn Veglahn (Zemlo); his wife Jeanine Marie Isler; his children, Sara Veglahn and Dan Veglahn (Nicole); his grandchildren, John Veglahn and Katherine "Katie" Veglahn; and his brother Burton "Bud" Veglahn.
